35
I was officially turned 35 last Thursday. Some people said i look younger. Happy. For this year celebration, we celebrated it at the Secret Recipe Plaza Pelangi. Yupp, we had a quality family time while enjoying our food that night. Alhamdulillah. I wish to be a better person, a good muslim, leading a quality life. I will try to mind my words, hope to have more money and lastly to be loved by everybody for who i am. Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.
Thanks Ibu for bringing me into this world 35 years ago.
I resemble Ayah more.
Crying because i forbade her from playing with my Blackberry.
Love.
Kids...Their moods can change anytime.
Laughing as if nothing has disturbed her just now.
My birthday cake ; Mango Delight. Yums!
My meal for the day ; Prawn Macaroni And Cheese.
Papa's favourite ; Aglio Olio.
Ibu's choice ; Mushroom Chicken With Rice.
Areej enjoying her usual food ; Fish And Chips For Kids and Royal Chocolate Cake.

Perfect Stranger
The day has finally come
And my heartbeat is running fast
As much as i wanted to tell you
Instead, i just come to say goodbye
I love the way you look at me
I love the way you smile
I love when our eyes met
Makes me want to reach out and cry
Good bye perfect stranger
Good bye beautiful monday
As much as i cannot let go and hold on closely
Sadly that is how it fated to be

Crush
Have you ever bump into someone who gives you a long pleasant gaze that you never seemed to forget?
Have you ever thinking of someone so deeply that you almost cried?
Have you ever find yourself hoping that someone to be standing there waiting for you with arms wide open?
Have you ever wanting to be together with that someone despite of all circumstances?
Well it is not love, Darling.
It is just a crush.
You will soon forget him.
You will soon find it is silly.
You will soon laugh your heart out.
You will soon sleep tight at night and not finding yourself to dream about him anymore.
And the next day you woke up, the world is going to be the same again.
Sooner or later, you and your crush will be just another tale to tell about.
The love once felt.
That perfect stranger i met.

Merely A Love Story But It Was Not...
This one is an old story about 2 persons. He is in his mid 30s, good looking and works as a manager. She is indeed in her early 30s, tall, out-spoken and surely a hijabie. They met in 2008 and now, they are no longer friends. At least, i can confirm that.
It all began in one dark evening. It was supposed to be rain but it did not. He, as calm as always, was patiently waiting for someone but did not expect that it was her who finally turned up at the front of his door. So they met. From there, they began to know each other, became closer until one fine day when she soon realized that there is no point of having him in her life. Of course she misses him. Crazy if she does not. I bet that he must be thinking of her too. If not always, it must be at least once in a blue moon. He was once amazed by her and thought that she was different. I know. He told me so.
In the last message she received, he told her that he is leaving and was kind of hoping that they can still be friends. That was the last time she ever heard from him. The message was left silent and unreplied. Sad but that was the end of it. It was merely a love story but it was not. If you loved someone, you cannot assume that he / she will surely going to be yours. Let him / her go. If he / she comes back to you, that someone will be yours. If not, both of you were not meant to be right from the start...

Over Love
Salam and hi again. Suddenly, i feel like writing because my heart tells me to. I had to be honest that i am a little bit down at the moment. Over love.
It has been a tough week for me as a parent when Areej was on her lowest key early this week. She has been quiet, inactive and i bearly hear her cheeky voice, laughing like always. She was very sick until both Farouk and i had to send her to Puteri. We spent 3 days and 2 nights there. It was tiring and we had to bear with it because she is our responsibility. And alhamdulillah.
Now she is picking up again. I can see that she is recovering but visually she seemed weak and cannot stop coughing almost all the time. I am glad for you, Areej because you are curing and has started to go to the kindergarden since yesterday after unable to attend it for number of days. I know that you missed school. I know that you missed your friends. They even called me yesterday. How cute for 5 years old girls to call each other just to say hello. It was not like that during my time.
And when you married someone, do you expect that the person will love you for the good and bad sides of you all the time? Yes, i do. I know that i have not been a perfect wife. I am not a good cook and i do agree that my look is beyond satisfactory. But i am ok with everything and have the confidence. You are not perfect either but are not love supposed to be perfect? I truly envy those sweet couples. They are still very much in love even after a long period of marriage. Can i be patient and pretend that nothing happen and hold on to the person i loved and very much in love still? At this moment, i seek for Allah's guidance for the sake of Areej. Dear Allah, please open our hearts, both Farouk and i to stay united and be more patient to get through with obstacles and hurdles in life. We are no longer young to be fighting and letting go everything for the name of love and happiness we once knew and believed in. Until the end of both our life. Amin.
Last but not least, below is a picture of Areej along with her cousins; Areesa, Sara and Sofea when they visited us on the 4th day of Eidul Fitri this year. They are close and i know that they missed each other.

I Dreamt A Dream
I totally forgot all about him after years and years since the day we stopped talking, calling, writing and even seeing each other until last week when i dreamt of him. I kept on thinking about him after that and could not help but beginning to miss him day by day until i finally found him on Facebook last week. He approved me as his friend.
He was my first love. I still remember that i used to adore him so much until i finally got the nerve to send him an Eidulfitri card during my form five. I must admit it was so silly of me but suprisingly, i did not wait long for him to reply. From there we started to become friends.
As one of popular guys at his school, i was getting the same reputation. People started to talk about us. For me, i just careless. What i know is i never really tell him how much i have adored and even loved him from the day i saw him for the first time at my school but i think he must have been totally understood it right from the start when we first met. He whom i knew was a very nice person, cared so much about me until he was willing to see me almost everytime i called and said to him i was in trouble. He cared and listened to my problems even after we completed our SPM in 1994 and started working. I can still recall that he came visiting when i was waitressing at a fast food restaurant. All my colleagues were praising him for his good look and said i was lucky to have him. To be honest, i did not really know what he was to me and i was to him but in my mind, he was simply the boy i have fallen for and out from nowhere, God sent him to me.
Our friendship did not last long though. I did not remember how we felt apart but i remembered that there was a girl he was in love with and she was his childhood sweetheart whom he could not forget. From there we grew our barriers. We finally stopped knowing each other when we were in our upper six. I decided to move on with my life and he with his.
Funny how i still keep the picture we took together when we were in our lower six and it is still in good condition. I saw it when i was picking up some old pictures from one of the drawers. There was also a picture of you, smiling. It was happening long before i even dream about you and finally found you here, online. Looking at it, i hardly recognize you but i am very much thankful to God for letting me to witness that you are now leading your life. Safe and sound. I even laughed at myself for being childish but i learnt something from it. Love yourself before you could love another being and it is all right to lose someone you loved for some unexplainable reasons because somehow God have been fair enough to you that He let that person to be with you for a duration of time before really losing him / her. At least he / she existed in your life before and once has made you happy. Therefore, be grateful about it. I am now sitting at my office desk with Coffee Beans Hazelnut Ice Blended on my right hand side. Smiling for letting go the past. Fly away, Love with all the memories we once shared. Alhamdulillah.
